Friends
Established in 1991, the Friends of the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library have demonstrated their support of the library in numerous ways which have benefited the residents of our county. Through fundraising activities, advocacy efforts, and volunteerism, the Friends have played a vital role in the success experienced by the library.
The Friends' primary fundraiser each year is the National Library Week book sale. This sale, coupled with the sales of canvas book bags and pencils, helps to generate much needed revenue for Friends support of special library activities and purchases.
