It’s International Creativity Month, visit the library and get creative by making your own pendulum painting. To make it at home you will need a medium size cardboard box, a dowel rod, about a yard of string, a paper cup, a pencil, an 8×10 canvas, and paint. Using a pencil punch a hole on either side of the box to hold the dole rod in place. Place the canvas in the bottom of the box, using a pencil punch a hole in the bottom of the paper cup and attach the string to the top of the cup. then the other end of the string to the dowel rod. Pour a little paint or mix different colors into the cup and let it swing, creating your own unique artwork.
