    Holiday Events

    The library is closed on Saturday, 12/23/23, through Tuesday, 12/26/23.  We will reopen on Wednesday, 12/27/23, at 8:30am.  We wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!  Enjoy!   • Cards and Cocoa

    Happy Card Playing Day! Come play various card games and enjoy hot cocoa with your friends.

  • Wooden Snowflake Craft

    K–5th Grade

    The children will make a 3D snowflake using wooden clothes pins and other craft materials.

  • New Year’s!

    Holiday Events

    We wish you all a Happy New Year!  We will see you at the library in 2024 on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 8:30am!

  • Torn Paper Snowflakes

    Toddlers will make a snowflake using a template, torn paper, and glue.

  • Trivia Day

    National Trivia Day was created by Robert L Birch in 1980. Birch was a librarian who also founded other holidays such as Lumpy Rug Day and Swap Ideas Day. This is the perfect day to stop by the library and learn interesting and obscure facts with which you can surprise other people.

  • Scratch Art

    K–5th Grade

    The children will design a picture using the various scratch art materials available.

  • Craft Closet Clean Out

    Happy Clean Your Desk Day! We are celebrating by cleaning out our craft drawers. Pick a craft leftover from the past. Paint, glue, and all other materials will be available for you to create something new for the New Year.

  • Penguin Craft

    Toddlers will make a penguin using the materials given.

  • Pictionary

    It’s International Creativity Month! We are getting creative by playing Pictionary, a game where you sketch a picture of a word you want your teammates to guess.

  • Design a Maze

    K–5th Grade

    The children will design a maze using various size Legos.
