The children will be able to create an art or science project from the various prepped tables.
Our very own program coordinator, Elizabeth Jolly, will have a table at the Southeast Lauderdale Middle School's Parent Night. Stop by for a visit.
Join us for a morning of bingo fun at the library! All are welcome, from beginners to seasoned pros. Mark your calendars, bring your lucky charms, and get ready to yell 'BINGO!' See you there! (limit: two prizes per person)
The toddlers will play alongside their playmates as they put puzzles together and play with playdough.
Think you’ve got what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Test your knowledge with a round of survival-themed trivia, then craft your own paracord bracelet—an essential tool in any emergency kit. It’s brains, braids, and a battle for survival (well…kind of). Fun, functional, and perfect for any future zombie hunter!
The children will play bingo and win some cute and spooky prizes.
Celebrate fall by creating your own wooden pumpkin door hanger! Using a pre-cut wooden pumpkin as your canvas, you’ll paint and decorate a festive piece perfect for your front door or wall. No painting experience needed—just come ready to have fun and take home a cozy autumn decoration.
The toddlers will use a fork and black paint to create a black cat.
The undead don’t care if your water’s clean—but you should. In this hands-on session led by a specialist from the Mississippi Rural Water Association, you’ll learn how to build your own emergency water filter from everyday materials. It’s a life-or-death skill in any crisis—zombie or otherwise. Learn how filtration works, why it matters, and what to do when there’s no tap in sight. Will your filter hold up… or will you be the next to fall?
The children will team up with friends for some spooky trivia.
