• Pajamas & a Christmas Movie

    K–5th Grade

    The children will wear their fanciest pajama set and have cookies and cocoa while watching a Christmas classic.

  • Santa’s Workshop

    Holiday Events

    Santa and Mrs. Claus are back in town for our 3rd Annual Santa’s Workshop. Drop in any time between 9:30 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-2:30 PM. Bring your camera to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus before they dash away to the North Pole for the big day! Visit the Children’s Department at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM to hear stories read by Mrs. Claus. Venture outside to meet some furry friends from the North Pole’s Farm (Angie Hales Pony Tales). Also, enjoy making fun crafts and doing a scavenger hunt. Parents and guardians are encouraged to visit the Vitalant Blood Mobile located in the West parking lot.

    Happy Card Playing Day! Come play various card games and enjoy hot cocoa with your friends.

  • Wooden Snowflake Craft

    K–5th Grade

    The children will make a 3D snowflake using wooden clothes pins and other craft materials.

  • New Year’s!

    We wish you all a Happy New Year!  We will see you at the library in 2024 on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 8:30am!

  • Torn Paper Snowflakes

    Toddlers will make a snowflake using a template, torn paper, and glue.

  • Trivia Day

    National Trivia Day was created by Robert L Birch in 1980. Birch was a librarian who also founded other holidays such as Lumpy Rug Day and Swap Ideas Day. This is the perfect day to stop by the library and learn interesting and obscure facts with which you can surprise other people.

  • Scratch Art

    K–5th Grade

    The children will design a picture using the various scratch art materials available.

  • Craft Closet Clean Out

    Happy Clean Your Desk Day! We are celebrating by cleaning out our craft drawers. Pick a craft leftover from the past. Paint, glue, and all other materials will be available for you to create something new for the New Year.
