• Volunteer Fall/Halloween Decorating Day

    Do you need community service hours? Well, today is the day to earn them, we could use your help decorating the library for the Fall/Spooky Halloween season. Help us sort through our Fall and Halloween décor and place it amongst the library.

  • Solar Noon Observation

    What song do most vampires despise?  “You are my Sunshine” We are going to take a look at the Sun, not only to keep vampires away but, to take a glance before the big annular solar eclipse due to take place on October 14, 2023. We will be using SUNoculars and a SolarMax telescope to safely observe the Sun.

  • Candy Corn Craft

    Toddlers will use orange, yellow, and white torn paper to fill in a candy corn template.

  • Tell-Tale Heart Storytime

    Gather around the campfire and tell a tale. What spooky stories do you know and want to share?

  • Beaded Pipe Cleaner Pumpkins

    K–5th Grade

    The children will make pumpkins using orange pipe cleaners and beads.

  • Cookies ‘n Screams Trivia

    Celebrate the spooky season with trivia questions and answers about candy, movies, music, pop culture, and other spirited traditions all while taking a bite out of delicious cookies.

  • Fall Festival

    Come join us for our 3rd Annual Fall Festival at the library.  We are having fun games, events, and crafts.   We have several local vendors selling food and artisans selling their crafts in our main parking lot right across the street.  Finally, Angie's Tales will stop by her pony rides and petting zoo!  Please stop by during the day to partake in the fun.  We look forward to seeing all of you!

  • Glow in the Dark Bingo

    Join us for a fun Glow in the Dark Bingo! We will be using dabbers, paper bingo sheets and black lights to bring the magic alive. Everyone who participates will get a glow stick! Join us for a COSMIC fun time!

  • Scary Trivia

    K–5th Grade

    Do you know the answer to these spooky questions, or will you be too scared to speak?

  • Halloween Door Hangers

    Decorate your home for the Spooky season by painting a wood door hanger cut out. Wood cutouts and paint will be provided.

  • Paper Plate Spider

    Toddlers will make a paper plate spider using pipe cleaners, and various size googly eyes.

  • Zom-beanies STEM

    You could be the next Victor Frankenstein by stitching together your own zombie-themed beanie. This is a great opportunity to practice sewing eyeball buttons and adding your own stitch work to a beanie hat to enjoy during the spooky season.
