• 6th-12th Grade: Road Ready

    Road Ready is a monthly interactive program for students in grades 6–12 who want to learn more about cars, roads, and safe driving. Through games, trivia, challenges, demonstrations, and trusted resources, participants will explore traffic signals, intersections, right-of-way, and other road basics. Please note: Road Ready is an educational library program and is not a driver's education course or driving instruction. Participation does not satisfy any state licensing or driver education requirements.

    Start your day with some BINGO fun at the library! Join us for a lively morning of BINGO games and the chance to win fun prizes. To give everyone a fair chance, there is a limit of two prizes per person. No registration is required. Just come ready to play!

    Get ready to mix, stretch, squish, and experiment! 🧪👻 Create your own colorful monster slime while exploring the science behind polymers and how different ingredients change its texture and consistency. Customize your slime, give your monster creation a name, and take it home when you’re done! A fun, hands-on STEAM activity with just the right amount of October goo!

    Join us for a special Musician Spotlight featuring Alana Broughton, musician and Executive Director of the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation! Alana will take center stage with a live musical performance, sharing her talent and love of music with us. 🎶 As a special part of the program, she’ll also weave in a little of Meridian’s musical history through her connection with the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation and Museum, sharing stories and perhaps even a Jimmie Rodgers song or two reimagined in her own way. 🎸 Come enjoy the music, meet the musician, and discover a little of the musical heritage that helped put Meridian on the map! Free and open to the public
