    Make a coaster using yarn and an easy weaving pattern. This calm, step-by-step craft is beginner-friendly, and all supplies are provided.

  • Torn Paper Snowflakes

    The toddlers will tear and paste white pieces of paper to create a snowflake.

  • Winter Riddles

    K–5th Grade

    The children will work as a team as they figure out the answers to some winter riddles.

  • Melt Race

    The Science of Ice Experiment, predict, and race to see who can melt their ice cube the fastest! Learn how different materials affect melting while having some frosty fun.

  • Games and Chill

    Warm up this winter with board games, puzzles, and a cup of cocoa at the library! Whether you’re a master puzzler or just here for the laughs, this low-key hangout is all about fun and connection. No pressure, no prizes—just good vibes and good company.

  • Winter Clothing Scavenger Hunt

    The toddlers will search around the room to find all the articles of clothing worn during cold weather.

  • Homemade Snow

    K–5th Grade

    The children will mix two household items to create the illusion of snow.

  • Dot Art Snowflakes

    Create your own winter wonderland! Using white and colorful paint pens, design dazzling snowflakes on black paper using dots and patterns. Learn about snowflake symmetry while making beautiful, one-of-a-kind winter art!

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – Closed
