    Let’s make a meal together. Back in the day, it was quite common for people to share recipes and food gifts whether among family members or friends. Let’s bring that back! We will be making Friendship Soup Mix in a Jar, which is a great gift for someone you love or are concerned about as the holiday season approaches. Be sure to write down your own favorite comfort food recipes and share them with us! All materials will be provided.

  • Deck the Halls

    Community service opportunity to “deck the halls”. Help us sort our holiday decorations and decorate for the holiday season. We have plenty of Christmas trees that would love your attention.

  • DIY Christmas Cards

    We will make Holiday Greeting cards using a Cricut Machine. You can also acknowledge National Letter Writing Day by writing a special greeting for someone special.

  • Holiday Cookies in a Jar (STEM)

    Maybe you need a little happiness to give to someone during this time of year. We will put together Holiday Cookies in a Jar. This could be a nice gift to give to someone special or enjoy making them with your friends or family. Be sure to share your favorite Holiday sweets and treats recipes with us. It’s also a great opportunity to learn basic measuring when it comes to baking.

    Happy Card Playing Day! Come play various card games and enjoy hot cocoa with your friends.

  • Trivia Day

    National Trivia Day was created by Robert L Birch in 1980. Birch was a librarian who also founded other holidays such as Lumpy Rug Day and Swap Ideas Day. This is the perfect day to stop by the library and learn interesting and obscure facts with which you can surprise other people.

  • Pictionary

    It’s International Creativity Month! We are getting creative by playing Pictionary, a game where you sketch a picture of a word you want your teammates to guess.

  • Word Games

    It’s Thesaurus Day! Expand your vocabulary by using a thesaurus to play a word game.

  • Snowball Bath Bombs

    Combine Winter and science and you get Snowball Bath Bombs. All supplies will be provided. Measure, mix, and put together to make the perfect snowball to drop in your bath. (Don’t worry it’s not cold)
