  • Musician Spotlight featuring Brittanie Campbell

    Join us for our monthly Musician Spotlight, where we celebrate the talented musicians and singers in our community. Each month, we'll feature a different local artist who shares live music, stories from their musical journey, and the inspiration behind their performances. This month, we're pleased to welcome Brittanie Campbell for an hour of live music and conversation. Come relax, enjoy great music, and support a local artist.

  • Toddlers/Pre-K: Q-Tip Craft

    The toddlers will use a q-tip to finish each picture that is missing a specific color.

  • K-5th Grade: Pet Rocks

    K–5th Grade

    The children will adopt a rock, dress it up, and design a carrier for their pet rock to travel in.

  • BINGO

    Start your day with some bingo fun at the library! Join us for a lively morning of bingo games and the chance to win fantastic prizes. To ensure everyone gets a fair shot, there’s a limit of 2 prizes per person. Don’t miss this opportunity for excitement and camaraderie!

  • K-5th Grade: Canvas Thursday

    K–5th Grade

    The children will pick from various size canvases and paint to create a picture of their choosing.

  • Friends of the Library Meeting

    The Friends of the Library will meet on Tuesday, September 8th, at 3:00 PM in the Boardroom on the second floor of the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library. The Friends of the Library support the library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer efforts that help enhance library programs, services, and collections. Friends members and anyone interested in learning more about the organization are welcome to attend.

    The children will play several rounds of 10-letter bingo and win some awesome prizes.
