    Celebrate International Literacy Day with a morning of fun, brainy games! Play Scrabble, solve a group Wordle, and test your word skills with a few surprise challenges. No pressure—just a relaxed time to enjoy words, puzzles, and good company.

  • Alphabet Bingo

    The toddlers will match the pictures on the board that go with each letter and win a prize.

  • Recycled Runway

    Celebrate New York Fashion Week and Library Card Sign-Up Month with a hands-on design challenge! Use recycled materials to create your own fashion accessory, wearable art, or outfit. At the end, we’ll showcase everyone's creations in a laid-back mini runway or display walk (participation optional—cheering encouraged!). We’ll supply the materials—just bring your creativity.

  • Marbled Fall Leaves

    K–5th Grade

    The children will create marbled leaves by using shaving cream, and paint.

  • Button Art

    Come learn how to sew a button the easy way! We’ll practice sewing buttons onto canvas so you can master this handy skill while making a fun piece of art. Perfect for beginners and anyone wanting to learn or improve their sewing basics.
