    🍂 Fall Festival at the Library Tuesday, October 14 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Fall Fun at the Library! Join us for a full day of family-friendly fall excitement! Enjoy ponies and a hands-on petting zoo with Angie Hale’s Pony Tales, then keep the fun going with games, prizes, and tasty popcorn while browsing seasonal reads. Local organizations will have volunteers on-site to help run games, share resources, and hand out treats—making it a wonderful day to connect with the community. Plus, don’t forget—you can sign up for a library card while you’re here! Admission is free! Bring your family, friends, and your fall spirit for a day full of fun!

  • Build Your Bunker

    You’ve got one hour, a stack of giant LEGO bricks, and a whole lot of zombie panic—can your team build a bunker strong enough to survive the undead? Join us for this fun, chaotic, hands-on building challenge that’s part engineering, part apocalypse survival, all awesome.

  • Ink Blot Monsters

    K–5th Grade

    The children will create monsters using folded paper, paint, and googly eyes.

  • Zombie Survival Trivia

    Think you’ve got what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse? Test your knowledge with a round of survival-themed trivia, then craft your own paracord bracelet—an essential tool in any emergency kit. It’s brains, braids, and a battle for survival (well…kind of). Fun, functional, and perfect for any future zombie hunter!

  • Paper Bag Mummy

    The toddlers will use paper products and glue to create a mummy puppet.

  • DIY Skeletal Hand Anatomy

    Teens create a model of a human hand using basic materials like straws and string to understand how bones, joints, and tendons work together to make the hand move.

  • Spooky Games

    K–5th Grade

    The children will participate in several minute-to-win-it games. Who will be the last one standing.

  • Costume Contest & Bingo

    Show off your creative costumes for a chance to win a fun prize while enjoying lively games of bingo. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the Halloween spirit with friends and fellow patrons. Don’t miss out on the fun—come in costume and get ready for a ghoulishly good time!

  • Spooky Scavenger Hunt

    The toddlers will search around the room and help Ducky find all his Halloween costume ideas

  • Halloween Makeup Lab

    Get into the spooky spirit! Learn how to create creepy, cute, or classic Halloween looks using face paint and beginner-friendly special effects. You’ll practice on silicone makeup faces (not your own skin), so no worries about allergies or mess. Try your hand at zombie wounds, skeleton designs, or your own monster creation. We’ll provide the supplies—you bring the imagination!
