  • Toddlers/Pre-K: Q-Tip Craft

    The toddlers will use a q-tip to finish each picture that is missing a specific color.

  • K-5th Grade: Pet Rocks

    K–5th Grade

    The children will adopt a rock, dress it up, and design a carrier for their pet rock to travel in.

  • Road Ready

    Road Ready is a monthly interactive program for students in grades 6–12 who want to learn more about cars, roads, and safe driving. Through games, trivia, challenges, demonstrations, and trusted resources, participants will explore topics such as road signs, traffic safety, vehicle basics, emergency preparedness, and more. Please note: Road Ready is an educational library program and is not a driver's education course or driving instruction. Participation does not satisfy any state licensing or driver education requirements.

  • Meet & Greet with Our New Executive Director

    Special Day

    Join us for a Meet & Greet with the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library’s new Executive Director! Stop by, say hello, and help us give him a warm welcome to the library and our community. We hope to see you there!

  • BINGO

    Start your day with some bingo fun at the library! Join us for a lively morning of bingo games and the chance to win fantastic prizes. To ensure everyone gets a fair shot, there’s a limit of 2 prizes per person. Don’t miss this opportunity for excitement and camaraderie!

  • K-5th Grade: Canvas Thursday

    K–5th Grade

    The children will pick from various size canvases and paint to create a picture of their choosing.

  • Friends of the Library Meeting

    The Friends of the Library will meet on Tuesday, September 8th, at 3:00 PM in the Boardroom on the second floor of the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library. The Friends of the Library support the library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer efforts that help enhance library programs, services, and collections. Friends members and anyone interested in learning more about the organization are welcome to attend.
