    Create your own personalized gratitude journal to capture the good things in life! Decorate the cover with stickers, markers, and more, then start filling the pages with things you’re thankful for. This hands-on activity is a great way to practice mindfulness and cultivate a positive mindset. All materials and journals provided—just bring your creativity!

  • Torn Paper Pumpkins

    The toddlers will use their fine motor skills to fill in the outline of a pumpkin using torn colored construction paper.

  • Foreclosure Prevention & Financial Literacy – Cancelled

    Join the Mississippi Center for Justice and Woodforest National Bank for a Foreclosure Prevention and Financial Literacy workshop at the Meridian Lauderdale County Public Library on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 12–2 PM. Learn valuable tools to safeguard your home and strengthen your financial future.

    Get ready for a fun and fast-paced Thanksgiving challenge! Teams will race to pass a “turkey” using only chopsticks, test their drawing skills in a silent doodle relay, and unscramble festive words—all on whiteboards. Join us for a lively hour of teamwork, laughter, and holiday spirit. No mess, just lots of fun!

Join us on Tuesday, November 25, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM during County and City Schools’ Thanksgiving Break. Bring your smiles, your wish lists, and your holiday spirit—this is the perfect chance to snap a cute family photo for your Christmas cards before the December rush!

    Happy Thanksgiving!  We will close at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, 11/26, and remain closed through Saturday, 11/29, in celebration of Thanksgiving.  We will reopen on Monday, 12/1/25, at 8:30am.  Enjoy the holiday.  Thank you.
